”The Flying Skip” Stockton-on-Tees. We had been billed as TPR and people thought we were TPR recruitment. It was the time before we had instruments, and we were doing mime and experimental dance. There was about 18 people there and over one third stayed to the end

4) Worst gig ever played 

Same gig, due to violent, explosive dysentery. Not a good combination with the milky white bodytards we wore in those days

5) Best gig ever seen

An evening with Eamonn Holmes. He talked mostly about his brass rubbing adventures with Derek Batey. Hates ‎ Ben Fogle! Something to do with camp site fees

6) Worst gig ever seen

Same gig, Holmes had no tie and stumbled of stage after 40 minutes after downing a bottle of Pernod

7) Favourite album 

Alan Titchmarsh “Combating Antirrhinum rust” I despise all forms of music so this would have to be my all-time favourite album. Side one is best, (snapdragons). It is a fungal disease that produces dark brown spore pustules on the undersides of the leaves. Severely affected leaves shrivel and may die

Havana 3 AM, the band The Clash could have been

Same band, as I have said I absolutely despise all music, and this is the only band I’ve ever perceived
