The Panic Report formed in 2009 in a dusty old rehearsal room in darkest Felling.

John, Martin, Harvey and Chris soon got a few songs together and hit the circuit of the North East, playing their ska-inflected tunes to ever growing audiences.

Harvey departed in early 2012, after he went to the shop for eight cans and never came back. His replacement Lee did a seven year stint in the band, his quirky guitar and keyboards adding greatly to the sound. After Lee’s departure in 2019, Harvey finally returned from the shop and rejoined the band.

Ex-Skatoon, Steve came on board in 2023 on bass, his fingers of fire coaxing some boss sounds out of his bassoon.

Over the years they have played some prestigious gigs including support slots with Bad Manners, Neville Staples, Angelic Upstarts, Toyah, 999 and From the Jam.

They are also regulars at Stone Valley, the biggest mod and ska festival in the UK.

They released their album “Land of Tribes” in 2021, which was met with great reviews and acclaim. They continue to play and record, keep an eye open for upcoming gigs and releases.
